About me: While on mountain retreat in Salt Lake City, Utah a revelation brought me to Charlotte. I have always been a free spirit of sorts. I guess that I'd consider myself a jack of all trades having dabbled in construction, real estate, healing arts, sales, promotions & marketing. I have a zest for the Salon\Spa industry having worked in several and managing one in Philadelphia on Rittenhouse Square. Recently my fiance and I brought a beautiful little girl into the world. I'm looking forward to passing on my passion and excitement for life to her.
A place I'm dying to visit: Any place that is rich with culture--although simple white sands and beaches are mighty enticing
My favorite activities: The written word, dancing, people watching, playing with my daughter.
Why Emerson Joseph: I love the concept and the people involved. After meeting the owners and the staff I knew it was a place I could not only be myself in but excel. Everyone is supportive of one another and growth is encouraged on a daily basis. I'm really looking forward to being a part of the team!
And as if that were not enough... the client base is a pleasure to be around and both locations are beautiful work environments!

A Place I am dying to visit: NEW YORK! I would love to go to New York during Christmas time.

Why Emerson Joseph: This salon puts off a vibe of passion and determination in making each client satisfied. It is very professional but yet laid back and the environment creates such relaxation for men. It is a very upbeat atmosphere and i feel honored to be apart of the team.

A place I'm dying to visit: I would really love to visit Paris someday. The shopping has to be fantastic!
My Favorite Activities: I love going to my son's little league games. When I'm not cheering him on, I enjoy shopping, hanging out by the pool, & spending time with all my lovely friends.

About me: I relocated to the Charlotte, NC area in 2003. Prior to that, for 15 years I worked in Washington DC at the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports for the Department of Health and Human Services. After settling in the South, I decided to start my second career as a nail technician. I graduated from the Charlotte Nail Academy and became a licensed nail technician in 2007. Being a nail technician allows me the opportunity to do two things I truly love - meeting new people and TALKING.
I have lived in: Maryland, California, Virginia, & North Carolina
A place I'm dying to visit: Italy and Costa Rica
My favorite activities: I enjoy playing sports including tennis and volleyball. I am a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan and am currently addicted to watching the UFC, very trashy reality TV, reading, and hosting parties where I can show off my bartending skills. Live reggae music-when I can find it-is a true pleasure. I am happiest spending time with my family, including my two Jack Russell Terriers - Mr. & Mrs. P.
Why Emerson Joseph: Emerson Joseph is the place i love coming to work to everyday. The lounge is masculine and sophisticated, but the vibe is relaxed and fun. The concept is unique and its exciting for me to tell others about the services we offer. Being able to provide pedicures in a private room is especially nice because men who don't consider themselves "that guy" can still enjoy being pampered.

About me: I come from a very large family, most of who still live in & around the Charlotte area. I am married & have three sons, two who live in Charlotte & one who has relocated to California. Most of my professional career was spent working in the automotive industry.

A place I'm dying to visit: Australia. It seems to be a fascinating & wonderful country. I especially want to visit the Aboriginal communities. I have a great respect for their history & resilience.
My favorite activities: Spending time with my granddaughters - going to any good Jazz/Blues concert – kicking back at home watching sports.
Why Emerson Joseph: After spending a season providing my services at the Charlotte Bobcat Arena, I knew I wanted to continue to reach a broader customer base in a place where my many years of leather care experience would be appreciated. After meeting with Shelly & learning about the quality/sophisticated services Emerson Joseph offers, I knew I had found the perfect place.

About me: I am currently a student at UNC Charlotte, class of 2012. I'm getting my degree because I think it's the prudent thing to do... but, my first love is cosmetology. I finished my degree&became board certified before enrolling in college. What I lack in experience, I make up for in passion!! I am dedicated to this industry and Emerson Joseph. I have played lacrosse for the past 4 years as goalie of my high school team. I am very outgoing and always looking to grow as a person.

A place I'm dying to visit: Most all of Europe- Italy especially, and Australia.
My favorite activities: Lacrosse- playing and watching, movie-going, coloring, concerts, anything that involves me spending time with my family/ friends.
Why Emerson Joseph: It's about time men had a place to get themselves done up without being picked on by their male friends. This salon is a place for guys to come in, have a good time and relax. The atmosphere is very laid back yet still has structure to it. Each staff member is outstanding in their own way, and we all seem to compliment each other. I have not yet seen a salon this dedicated to their clients and I'm thrilled to be a part of it.

My favorite activities: I love to paint, ride my bike, go fishing, and camping... pretty much anything outdoors. I really miss being able to ski whenever I want. I also love to read, take naps and relax.
Why Emerson Joseph: I figure if you must work, you might as well enjoy it. Working with people you want to be around is a must for me because, like I said, life is too short.

I am in school to be a pharmacist, but in my free time I love jumping on a bike- motorized, not , riding to lake and relaxing all day with my friends. To me that's a perfect day.

A place I'm dying to visit: Fiji is on top of the list; it's just so gorgeous.
My favorite activities: laying out, boating, shopping, traveling....but hands down my favorite activity is riding motorcycles.

About me: I grew up inside a hair salon. My mother owned a salon&brought me to work before I could walk. I helped with everything from sweeping hair to answering phones. Being around this industry day in & day out, it is naturally my passion. My favorite thing about this industry is that trends&styles are constantly changing. There is always something new to learn. I look forward to expanding my knowledge as a stylist. The sky is the limit!

A place I'm dying to visit: I would love to backpack throughout Europe; to sightsee&experience everything from art history to the local hangouts.
My favorite activities: I am a huge Carolina Panther fan. I love going to the games&tailgating. I'm also a dedicated Tarheel basketball fan. I'm very family oriented; so I fill my spare time spoiling my Godson. I enjoy cooking&singing&exploring new activities - I will try anything once!

My favorite activities: Taking a day trip to the salon and spa..and spoiling myself with services! I rarely get the opportunity to, but when I can, I really do enjoy pampering myself.
