How do I prepare for a waxing appointment?
Preparing for our professional waxing services is not complicated. However, you should follow these recommendations before waxing sessions to ensure optimal results:
- Trim the hair being waxed to around ¼ inches long
- Exfoliate the soon-to-be waxed area a day or two before the appointment
- Shower before your appointment and wash the skin
- Refrain from sunbathing or using tanning beds for at least 48 hours before waxing
- Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated
Are there any aftercare instructions for waxing and threading services?
Your esthetic will provide you with specific instructions. You should generally avoid hot baths, sun exposure, and exfoliation for 24-48 hours after treatment.
Can I request a specific esthetician for my appointment?
You will have the option to choose a specific esthetician when booking your appointment. Do note that their prices and availability will vary.
What is the difference between waxing and threading as hair removal methods?
Men’s waxing involves applying wax to the skin and removing it with a strip to extract hair. It can be painful but provides longer-lasting results. Meanwhile, threading uses a twisted cotton thread to precisely remove hair. It's less painful (especially for facial hair) and is known for its precision in shaping eyebrows. Both methods offer effective hair removal.
What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens, and we respect that. Keeping this in mind, we also ask that you respect the time of our stylists. If you cancel more than 24 hours in advance, there will be no penalty. The ticket price will be billed at 50% if you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice. In the event of a cancellation with less than three hours' notice, the full ticket price will be charged.
